We know you probably have a bunch of questions about how a laundry pick up service works and what areas we cover. Let’s answer them!
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Laundry Service
For a one time order, schedule a pick up through the website or by calling. We will get in touch with you to confirm your information and pick up time. Set your laundry outside your door in large (13 gallon) or extra large (33 gallon) bags, and we’ll be by to pick it up.
I always use Tide products for laundry services. I have both scented and hypoallergenic varieties. If you have a preference, please let me know during your initial booking. In addition, you can request vinegar, peroxide, bleach, fabric softener, or dryer sheets. If you prefer a different brand, please provide it with your clothes during pickup.
Our turnaround time is approximately 2 days. For example, if your clothes are picked up on Tuesday, then they will be delivered on Thursdays. We do not offer regular pick up or delivery on Saturdays, however, we can accommodate a Saturday with an additional $20 fee. In this case, a Thursday pick up would be scheduled for a Sunday delivery.
Yes! If you need next day service, it is an additional $10 per large bag or $15 for extra large bags. For same day service, the order MUST be placed before noon and will be an additional $15 for large bags and $20 for extra large bags.
You will receive a text message the day before your pick up or delivery to confirm your estimated time window for our arrival.
Due to the nature of this business, I do have to charge a $10 fee for a missed appointment. This also includes an address error or if there is a gate that no code has been provided for entry.
By selecting a subscription, you sign up for weekly or every other week service. We will contact you to set up your specific subscription (ie, 1 bag every week, 2 bags per week, etc). You get a per bag discount for being on a subscription. At your first delivery, I will also drop off reusable bags to fill for next time. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring weekly or monthly basis, at your choice. There is a 4 week or 1 month minimum per customer, after that you may cancel, pause, or restart at any time.
You will be sent an invoice to pay online via credit card. If you prefer to pay cash, let us know in the notes on your sign up form.
You may set laundry out in your hamper, but please be aware that pricing will still be based on bag size. At pick up, we will either take your hamper (and return it at drop off), or transfer to bags if you prefer. Remember if you order a subscription, a reusable bag will be provided for you to use!
A light stain removal treatment is included by request, so please let us know if you want it. An extra stain removal treatment is available for $5 per order. We will try our best best, but can’t make any guarantees about stain removal. Stains are easiest to remove before washing and drying, so if you want stain treatment, please be sure to let us know before we start washing your order.
You can send any clothing that can be washed in a machine, as well as bedding, bath mats, etc. At this time I cannot accept dry cleaning, or extra large items that can’t fit into a washing machine.
Absolutely not! Each order is laundered individually.
Please please please check your pockets before sending laundry. We try and pat down laundry prior to washing, but cannot guarantee we will find anything in time. If you suspect something was left in your pockets, please try and get in touch with us ASAP so we can attempt to remove it before we wash. Any “pocket treasures” we find will be returned with your clean laundry.
We double check the washing machine, dryer, and each laundry basket for stragglers. However, we are human and occasionally something might fall to the side. If we notice something got left behind, we will contact you and return it. If you notice something is missing, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will do our best to locate and return the item.
Pick up and drop off is contact free. We carry masks in our vehicles so if we see a person outside with their laundry, or if you want to pay cash, we can mask up. Machines are sanitized at least once a day. With little to no human to human contact, you can rest assured that the risk of spreading disease is minimal to none.
